It’s often hard to name and understand what we feel. Recognising that difficulty is already the first step of the therapeutic process.
The mind won’t slow down, even when the body is asking for rest.
Your drive fades and sadness lingers, even without a clear reason.
Focus that slips away, forgetfulness and the feeling of being constantly wired.
Socialising is draining and the world feels too intense.
You don’t need to arrive with everything sorted out or with the right words. Therapy begins exactly where you are, at your own pace.
You don’t have to go through this without support.
A place of trust, no hurry, where you can express yourself freely.
Little by little, you understand better what you feel and why.
Concrete tools to deal with whatever life brings.
You tell me what brought you here. I may ask for a few details to support you better, and we arrange our first meeting.
The first session is the space to get to know you, understand your needs and what matters to you. It's also your chance to ask how I work.
50-minute sessions on Google Meet or in person in Recreio. Flexible frequency, usually weekly, at the pace that makes sense for you.
My passion for human behavior began during my adolescence and led me to psychology. I completed my graduation at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), where I had experiences in social, educational, academic, and clinical psychology. It was in the clinical field that I found a space to support people during moments of vulnerability, offering attentive, ethical, and non-judgmental listening. I then completed my post-graduation studies in clinical psychology and Gestalt-Therapy at the Gestalt in Figure Psychology Institute (IPGF), where I specialized in this approach.
I believe each person has a unique way of existing and, therefore, deserves equally unique care. My work aims to create a safe environment where you can understand your experiences, welcome your feelings and find new paths with more awareness, autonomy and authenticity.
My practice is based on Gestalt Therapy, an approach that values the present and the way we relate to ourselves, to others and to the world. I also use creative and artistic resources to make the therapeutic process more dynamic and bring deeper perceptions
I work with issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, compulsive disorders, and disorders relating to gender and sexuality expression.
In Gestalt Therapy I don’t start with pre-build answers about your life. My role is to walk alongside you and help you find your own answers in your own time.
Throughout life we build ways of coping with everything. Over time, those ways can bring anxiety (GAD), depression, low mood and distress, or weigh on those living with ADHD, bipolar disorder or autism (ASD). Therapy is where you build new, healthier ways of dealing with whatever comes up.
In-person sessions take place in Recreio dos Bandeirantes – Rio de Janeiro, in a warm, calm space prepared to welcome you from the very first meeting. A space of listening, care and respect for your story.
Finding attentive listening and respect, in a judgement-free environment.

Building skills to better handle individual, emotional, psychological and behavioural matters.
A safe, welcoming space where you can understand yourself more deeply

Strengthening the ability to face change and uncertainty with more resilience and self-confidence.
When you start noticing that emotional, relational and personal matters begin to bring suffering into your daily life, affecting your quality of life and wellbeing.
The first session is what we call an initial interview: a conversation so I can better understand your needs, your expectations about the therapeutic process and, also, a space for you to get to know my work. You don’t need to say everything in the first session, only what’s needed for a first contact. Rest assured that I’ll guide you through this initial step.
Sessions are aimed at adults who want to understand their emotions better, deal with internal and external conflicts, strengthen self-esteem and build a life with more authenticity. The therapeutic process offers a space of listening, reflection and support so you can reconnect with yourself and make more conscious choices in your daily life.
Sessions with me are in person or online. In-person sessions take place at the following locations:
Treatment has no fixed length. Its duration always depends on your needs and your engagement in the therapeutic process. You’re free to stop the process whenever you wish.
I don’t work with health insurance providers. If your plan offers reimbursement for psychotherapy, you can request it from your provider and I’ll assist you with that process too.
